  • What happens if it rains?
    Irish Festival has a 12,000sq ft indoor air conditioned space, and two large terraces on each side. If it rains, the festival will go ahead. Please wear suitable clothing. In the event of a typhoon or black rain warning, please follow updates on the Irish Festival social media accounts @irishfestivalhk for Facebook and Instagram.
  • Where is the festival located?
    Irish Festival is located in the 4th Floor Exhibition Space in the West Wing of the Shun Tak Centre. 200 Connaught Road, Sheung Wan. To access the space, make your way to the 4th floor, West Tower of Shun Tak Centre. The space can be accessed by escalator to the 4th floor, or lift. There will be sign posts marking the way. We kindly ask you reserve the lifts for those less mobile and instead follow the arrows to use the escalator to access the venue.
  • Zero tolerance to illegal drugs and underage drinking
    Irish Festival has a zero-tolerance policy to illegal substances and drugs. Anyone suspected or found in possession will be escorted from the grounds and handed over to the Hong Kong police. Officers will also be actively searching for offenders. Irish Festival has a zero-tolerance policy to underage drinking. If you’re under 18 and caught drinking, we’ll confiscate your drinks, escort you from the festival and call your parents or guardians.
  • What time does the festival start and finish?
    Irish Festival's Opening hours: Saturday 16 March 12pm - 12am Sunday 17 March 12pm - 9pm
  • Can I bring water to the festival
    Please note that no outside food and drink will be permitted at the venue (accept for infants and very young children) and you will be asked to leave it at the entrance. Water will be available for a small fee inside the festival space.
  • Official Photography and Recordings
    Please note that Irish Festival official photographers and videographers will be on the festival site. By attending the festival, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed. Irish Festival shall reserve the rights to use, copy, distribute, publish, republish print, display, transmit, create derivative works containing your image, portrait, photograph, footage, voice and/or likeness, without compensation or notification to, or additional consent by you.
  • Are there car parking options?
    There is a paid car park located below.
  • Is smoking permitted at the venue?
    Smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere on the city terrace or inside the venue. If you wish to smoke, please use the Harbour terrace. The entrance is to the left of the main bar.
  • Is the venue accessible for people with mobility issues?
    Yes, there is a lift directly to the event space. We encourage all able-bodied festival-goers to reserve these lifts for those in need and instead use the escalators provided.
  • What are the transport option for getting to Irish Festival
    The easiest and quickest way to access the festival is by public transport. Take Exit D of Sheung Wan MTR and follow signs for the Macau Ferry Terminal. Once you reach the Shun Tak Centre, make your way to the West Tower end of the centre and up to the 4th floor. Plenty of bus routes also serve the Shun Tak Centre. There is also a car park.
